Purpose
To promote awareness on campus of UI-provided professional development opportunities. To explore options for further educational opportunities and to make recommendations to the Council for making such opportunities available to staff. To inform staff of the existence and function of the Council.
Scope of Concern
- Organize and present Council information to new staff members during onboarding.
- Work closely with UI Learning and Development to provide staff with professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate a mentorship program to acclimate new councilors and introduce them to Council responsibilities.
