The Clothing Closet is a student-run clothing store specializing in business casual and professional attire.  This resource gives students the opportunity to dress for success and do it for free. The need for the service was identified during a student government campaign where students were asked about campus needs. The response was that professional clothes were inaccessible and expensive. On September 13th, the doors to the Clothing Closet opened to help fill that need.

The clothing racks are filled with donations. Each semester, a student is able to claim five items at no charge. The Clothing Closet is always looking for donations, and Staff Council will be contributing at our next Staff Council meeting.

The store is located on the second floor of the Iowa Memorial Union in room 213. The current hours are Sunday, 3-5 p.m., Monday, 1:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., and Friday from 9:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. More information can be found on its Facebook page.
