Gregory Hopson has been with UI Health Care since 2011. As a Senior Application Developer in Health Care Information Systems (HCIS) he retrieves data from Epic for reporting and research for the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. During his prior Staff Council term (2018-2021) he served on the University Relations Committee (co-chair 2019-2020) and the Health Care Committee.

He has a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Louisiana State University and a Master of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.

Outside of work, he plays trombone with the Kirkwood Concert Band and Scrabble with his wife Tima.
