I have worked at UIHC for over 30 years. The last 20 years with in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as the Lead MA in the clinic. For the last two years I have been the coordinator for all the medical students as they do their required rotation. I very much enjoy working with the students and interacting with them daily. Its a good feeling knowing that I am contributing to their education since they will on day be taking care of my family.

I am on the second year of my first term on Staff Council. I serve on the University Relations committee and the help chair the Healthcare committee. I feel that it has been a very educational experience for me. I have learn so much on how the college and healthcare interact with each other.

I have also been a 4H leader for the past 15-20 years and a clover kids leader for the past 5 years. We do a lot of community service which is very rewarding. Working with these younger minds I believe has helped me greatly in my working with medical students.
