New for 2022, University Human Resources and the Office of the President launched the Discover Your University program last week.  This initiative is designed to help University of Iowa faculty and staff discover great, unknown, or new things happening around campus.

Discover Your University emphasizes inclusion and well-being. It invites faculty and staff to a little time during normal working hours to learn more about the university, themselves, and each other. You'll also earn liveWELL Points for participating.

With sponsored visits to various campus sites during normal working hours like the National Advanced Driving Simulator, the Iowa Technology Institute, Hancher, University of Iowa Health Care, Pentacrest Museums, and more, faculty and staff are bound to come away from the experience feeling more connected to their campus and their community.

This program is open to all Iowa faculty and staff who wish to participate. Starting out, program organizers anticipate two visit days during the fall semester, each offering a range of exciting opportunities to participate.

While employees can certainly participate individually, we encourage faculty and staff to grab a colleague or members of their unit and take on this experience as a unique team-building experience.

Iowa is a Big Ten leader and global hub for education, research, arts, sports, and much more. Discover Your University offers faculty and staff a diverse array of opportunities to experience what makes Iowa a best in class institution.

Missed out on the October 11 visit day? Don’t worry - November 2 visit days are now open for registration. We hope to see you there!
