Staff Council Directory
About
Staff Council is an elected body that represents over 9500 regular employees of the university who are classified as Professional and Scientific (P&S) or Merit Supervisory Exempt/Confidential (MSE/C) staff members.
Membership on the Council is based upon representation from job functions and organizational units. The Council is comprised of 60 members: 39 representing Job Function/combined Job Function Categories, referred to as Job Function Categories, and 21 representing Organizational Unit/combined Organizational Unit Categories, referred to as Organizational Unit Categories.
The council is led by the Executive Committee consisting of five officers and four at-large members.
Who's My Staff Council Representative?
Every non-bargaining staff of the University of Iowa is represented by at least two members of Staff Council - one representative based on the organization they are employed within and one or more representatives based on their job function. We encourage you to contact your representatives if you have any questions, feedback or concerns.
