The University of Iowa Dance Marathon Big Event is coming soon! Over the years, the annual Big Event has raised millions of dollars for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. This year’s Big Event will be in person, and there are several ways for staff to get involved. Here’s how: 

1. Participate in the Big Event on February 3rd-4th, a celebration of the year, and of the Dance Marathon kids and families. The schedule of events will soon be posted at https://dancemarathon.uiowa.edu. Dance Marathon welcomes and celebrates diversity in race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, class/status, physical/mental health and ability, and prohibits discrimination on the basis of any category that deprives a person of consideration as an individual and the right to be human. 

2. Donate! Some active members of Dance Marathon are struggling to reach their fundraising minimum. With the Big Event coming up quickly, staff can help these members reach their goals! Here is a list of Dancers in Need, and information on how to donate.
