The University of Iowa staff were well represented at this year’s Hawkeye Caucus which happens every year at the State Capitol building in the heart of Des Moines.  Many organizations and units from across the university sent representatives to the annual event to cover the hill in black and gold.  These representatives raise the awareness of the value of The University of Iowa to so many across the state, as they engage with lawmakers, staff, and visitors in the Capitol.  

Seventeen Staff Councilors attended Wednesday April 12th 2023 including: Ashley Peters, Jackie Kleppe, John Laverty, Neda Barrett, Brian Morelli, James Jorris, Gregory Hopson, Sam Mitchell, Brett Cloyd, Rubia Ruiz, Kevin Zihlman, Mihaela Bojin, Monica Dreyer Rossi, Erika Holm-Brown, Molly James, Jamie O'Meara, and Tammy Paulus.
