In February, Staff Council received a well-being update from Erin Litton, Senior Director, UI Wellness. Well-being at the University of Iowa is a process focused on life-long learning that promotes and sustains optimal health, personal connectedness, meaningful experiences, and a purposeful life. Faculty and staff well-being resources are provided by the Health and Well-being units of University Human Resources, liveWELL, the Employee Assistance Program, and Family Services. Discover how liveWELL can enhance your well-being and promote a healthy University culture through personalized consultations. Schedule a consultation today by emailing livewell@uiowa.edu or check out the 2024 Health and Well-being resource guide to review a comprehensive listing of Well-Being resources for university employees.
Quick Tip: Remember to prioritize your health with the 20-20-20 Rule: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to stand up and focus on something 20 feet away from your computer screen!
