Voting will occur April 2, 2025, through April 16, 2025, and terms will begin on June 1, 2025. 

Staff Council is a shared governance body that represents the 9000+ non-bargaining Professional and Scientific staff at the University of Iowa. Staff Council is a terrific opportunity to:

• Advocate on behalf of your constituents by soliciting information and opinions from your constituents to share with the council.
• Inform your constituents of developments around campus as well as the activities of the Staff Council.
• Attend monthly meetings and participate in discussions. 
• Actively participate in at least one Staff Council committee. 
• Represent the University in the surrounding community by volunteering at various community events. 
• Build relationships with employees from different areas of the University.
