Brian Morelli is the Head of Marketing and Communication for the Iowa Technology Institute, a research arm of the College of Engineering, and has been a Staff Council organization representative for the College of Engineering since 2021. Brian graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA degree in Journalism in 2005 and is presently working toward an MBA in the Tippie College of Business. In addition, Brian worked as a professional journalist in the Eastern Iowa market for 15 years, and has proudly served as an adjunct instructor in the UI Lifetime Leisure Skills program teaching for-credit classes in backpacking, cycling, hiking, and Exploring Iowa’s Natural Wonders since 2007.
