Biography

Griffin Idleman began his IT career while studying at the University of Iowa as a student technology consultant, where he supported the 3D Printing service in the School of Art and Art History. He has since progressed through various IT roles at the university, ranging from clinical support at UIHC to supporting instructional technology with ITS-Enterprise Instructional Technology. He then advanced to a Senior IT Support Consultant and Team Lead in ITS-Extended Technical Support. Griffin is currently a Windows System Administrator in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Technology Services, where he supports research and bolsters security and compliance efforts. Griffin leads the ITADmins Planning Committee and is a proactive member of the IT Leadership and Development Committee. Outside of work, Griffin enjoys spending time with his family, caring for his chickens, gaming with friends, and exploring new technologies.
