Jadvyga has worked as a computer consultant for the College of Medicine and the UIHC for over twenty years. She is a member of the onsite support team for UI Healthcare Enterprise, specializing in Mac computers. She has degrees in information technology and Russian literature. This is her second term on UI Staff Council and she is a member of Healthcare and Education committees. 

She is active in the International Women's Club, enjoys volunteering, walking her golden retriever Chomsky, biking, gardening, and reading.
