Biography

Kayla Rojas serves as a Behavior Assessment Consultant on the University of Iowa Threat Assessment Team, within the Division of Student Life. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. With six years of experience in the K-12 public education setting and a term as President of the Iowa School Psychology Association.

Dedicated to promoting well-being, safety, and mental health, Kayla is passionate about fostering a thriving university community. As a Function Representative for Behavioral Health on the University of Iowa Staff Council, she looks forward to advocating for the needs of staff, faculty, students, and the broader community. Kayla's commitment to her work and the university underscores her deep dedication to making a positive impact at the University of Iowa.
