Kevin Zihlman has been at the University of Iowa as a full-time staff member in the Athletics Compliance Office since August of 2010. His primary focus is working with athletics staff, coaches and student-athlete regarding NCAA Division One rules and regulations. Kevin holds his Master of Arts from the University of Iowa and worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Iowa Athletics Department before starting his full-time career. Kevin is currently serving his second term on the UI Staff Council as the Organizational Representative from Athletics as well as serving in the UI Staff Council Past President role. He has also served as Chair of two Presidential Charter Committees: Parking and Transportation Charter Committee and Faculty/Staff Parking Appeals Committee. Kevin has been an adjunct instructor in the Sports and Recreation Management program at Iowa for the past 7 years. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys coaching his two boys' youth sports teams and working with his family at their farm in Southeast Iowa.
