University of Iowa employees can get the flu vaccine for free at locations across campus. Flu vaccinations started Monday, Sept. 12, and run through Friday, Nov. 18.
Dates and locations for on-campus flu-vaccine events include:
- September 12–October 28 (weekdays except Sept. 22, 29, and Oct. 4, 10): Pediatric Conference Center, 2400 John Colloton Pavilion, 7:15 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, September 22: Medical Education Research Facility (MERF), 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Thursday, September 29: University Capitol Centre (UCC), 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 4: Dental Sciences Building, 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, October 20: BioVentures Center (BVC), 10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- October 31–November 18: University Employee Health Clinic (UEHC), 1097-1 Boyd Tower, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 2: Field House, 7:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Employees can also schedule a vaccine at UI QuickCare, UI Urgent Care, Iowa River Landing, or from a primary care provider. Click here for more information.
The flu vaccine is covered under University of Iowa health plans and many other insurance plans.
