On behalf of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who participated in Dance Marathon 29. This year's event was a resounding success, raising a total of $1,174,008.29 in support of the children and their families who are undergoing treatment at our hospital.

For those who may not be familiar with Dance Marathon, it is an annual event that brings together students, faculty, and community members from the University of Iowa and surrounding areas for a 24-hour dance party. Throughout the event, participants raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

This year's Dance Marathon took place from February 3rd to February 4th and featured a variety of activities, performances, and emotional moments that highlighted the strength and resilience of the children and families who have been impacted by pediatric illness.  Participants were able to connect and celebrate in person this year.

The $1,174,008.29 raised during Dance Marathon 29 will go directly to supporting the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital and its mission to provide the highest quality care for children and their families. These funds will help to provide critical resources, such as specialized equipment, research funding, and support for families who are facing the challenges of pediatric illness.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the you to all the UI STAFF COUNCIL members who volunteered and helped during this event! Your hard work and dedication truly made a difference in the lives of so many children and their families. Thank you again for your commitment and support. It's because of the hard work of everyone involved, that Dance Marathon 29 was such a success! Together, you have made a lasting impact on the lives of the children and their families at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

Finally, we would like to recognize the children and families who have been impacted by pediatric illness. Your courage, strength, and perseverance continue to inspire us every day, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible care and support.
