The University of Iowa Staff Council at UI Homecoming Parade

The University of Iowa Staff Council’s energy and Hawkeye Pride was intense at the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 6.  Around 25 staff councilors, family and friends braved the cold and blustery conditions.  Pikachu’s popularity ranked right up there with Caitlyn Clark!  A T-Rex, black and gold unicorn, and bumblebee blow-ups were big hits with the crowd.  Blow-up Herky stood his ground on the trailer along the winding parade route.  Stress balls, pompoms and candy were handed out to the hyped-up crowd. Extra shout-outs to Ashley Peters for leading the event and Jenni Yoder for providing the vehicle, trailer, and handling the transportation of swag!  A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated!  Yeah, UI Staff Council - we rock!
