University of Iowa Staff Council Supports Homecoming Events cropped.JPG

The University of Iowa's Homecoming celebration is a time-honored tradition that unites students, alumni, and the local community in a vibrant showcase of school spirit and pride. Held annually in the fall, this week-long event is packed with activities that highlight the university’s rich history and foster connections among Hawkeyes.

This year, Staff Council supported Homecoming celebration week by volunteering at the coffee bar and, of course, participating in the parade. Executive Committee members Brett Cloyd and Molly James led Councilors by carrying the Staff Council banner. Council members walked the route in blowup costumes including fan-favorite Pikachu while Staff Council President James Jorris rode in style, following behind councilors. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this year’s Homecoming Parade such an amazing event!
