Staff councilors, family, and friends joined the Community Outeach committee on October 11 at Kent Park for our Fall Highway Cleanup. We kicked off the morning with breakfast pizza and donuts, and enjoyed beautiful weather for our trash pickup. Everyone went home properly worn out and with delicious handmade treats! 

The Adopt-a-Highway program helps reduce litter along highways, enhance the environment, beautify roadsides, and build community support for anti-litter and highway beautification programs. Caring for roadsides not only makes them more attractive to the traveling public but also improves our environment.
