The Discover Your University committee extends our sincere thanks to all the incredible hosts who welcomed us into their spaces and shared their work with enthusiasm. Each tour in 2025 offered a unique glimpse into the vibrant life and impact of our university. Your generosity in opening your doors and taking time to engage with colleagues across campus makes this program special. Since the fall of 2022, more than 200 units and departments across campus have hosted guided tours for University of Iowa employees that offer a glimpse into the incredible work being done at our institution.

Tours in 2025 included Kinnick Stadium, the John Martin Rare Book Room, the new UI Challenge Course, campus architecture, and more.
“I love Discover Your University,” a 2025 participant said in a survey. “I didn’t go to the UI and I work from home, so Discover Your University is a way I can connect with campus. Thank you for the opportunity.”
Another participant called Discover “a great program to enhance awareness and appreciation of other units.”
