The University of Iowa partners with United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties for a fall giving campaign. This year it is our goal to raise $250,000 to support the work they do in our community, and we are so close to crossing the finish line.
The final seconds of our United Way campaign are on, and we have an exciting opportunity to finish strong for our community.
Thanks to the generosity of Tom Rocklin and Barbara McFadden, all financial donations made to United Way by University of Iowa employees through February 28, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $30,000!
That means gifts, no matter the size, can have twice the impact for our community. We’re calling this our Buzzer Beater Campaign, because just like a Hawkeye game, it’s all about finishing strong. As the clock winds down, this is our chance to come together and ensure critical support for children, families, and neighbors across Johnson & Washington Counties.
If you’d like to help us maximize this opportunity, here are ways you can help:
- Make a one-time gift to United Way
- Start or renew a payroll deduction
Hawkeyes know how powerful it is to show up in the final seconds. This is one of those moments where collective action can make a real difference. Help us unlock the full $30,000 match.
Let’s Beat the Buzzer. Let’s Double the Impact.
