The Spring Classic took place on Saturday, March 14 and hosted athletes competing in basketball, basketball skills, cheerleading, gymnastics and powerlifting. Healthy Athletes® screenings were also provided to athletes by healthcare professionals for dental, hearing, overall health and fitness and more.

Staff Councilors enjoyed a fun day engaging with Special Olympics Iowa athletes and volunteering for a variety of tasks: running basketball skills stations, souvenir sales, cheering on athletes, escorting athletes, time keeping, score keeping, handing out awards, and more.
