Sign up to volunteer or plan to attend the 29th Annual UI Powwow! 

Staff councilors answered a call for volunteers from the Native American Student Association to help staff the University of Iowa Powwow, a culturally rewarding event that exuberantly conveys the rich tradition of song and dance while building broader relationships with the community and university.

Volunteer duties throughout the day included checking in vendors and drum groups, greeting elders & head staff, unloading trucks, assisting the arena director, running messages, assisting flag song & special dance transitions, and more.
