The University of Iowa is dedicated to fostering a culture of well-being, as emphasized in the Strategic Plan 2022-2027, which highlights the importance of integrating mental health into campus life. The upcoming Health and Well-Being Fair offers an excellent opportunity for faculty and staff to explore various resources aimed at enhancing personal and workplace health. Every year, your Staff Council proudly supports the Health and Well-being Fair because your health matters. We believe that a healthy, connected community is the foundation of a thriving workplace, and this event provides opportunities to learn, engage, and invest in your well-being.

What to Expect

There are many opportunities to create meaningful connections and boost your well-being, including:

  • Free flu shots and health screenings
  • Chair massages
  • Information on membership options and personal training from Rec Services
  • Connect with UI Health Care experts and services
  • Opportunities to get your UI benefits questions answered in person.
  • Return of the Blood drive with UI DeGowin Center
  • Details about liveWELL Health Coach services, UI Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and other wellness initiatives

Bring your University ID and swipe in for entry. You will have the chance to participate in activities with tables, receive giveaways, and win door prizes!

Help spread the word to your colleagues! Download the fair flyer and digital signage to post details about the event in your area. New, this year, is the Food trucks!

Not able to attend in person? Explore the Health and Well-Being Virtual Fair during the same week as the event. Most vendors attending in person will have information posted on the site with resources and chances for staff and faculty to participate in similar activities, learn information, and sign up for raffle prizes.
