Flu season is approaching, and University of Iowa employees have several convenient opportunities to receive their annual flu vaccination — including at the 2026 Health and Well-Being Fair on Wednesday, October 21.
Getting Your Flu Shot at the Fair
Planning to attend the Health and Well-Being Fair? You can take care of your flu vaccination while you're there.
UI Employees in 50% or greater, regular positions may bring their Iowa One Card to the event to obtain a free flu vaccine. Learn more about the 2026 Flu Vaccine Campaign.
Before arriving:
- Sign into your ReadySet account using your HawkID and password and complete our short flu survey. You may also access ReadySet in Employee Self-Service > Benefits & Wellness > liveWELL > ReadySet Workplace Health Record.
- Bring your UI photo ID card (the Iowa One card) to the vaccination location. A UI Health Care photo ID badge is also acceptable.
- Get your flu vaccination at the Field House clinic.

Can't Make It to the Fair?
No problem! The 2026 flu vaccination campaign runs through Friday, December 4, with several additional vaccination dates and locations available across campus.

Can't make it to an on-campus clinic? Employees may also receive their vaccine through Quick Care, Urgent Care, Iowa River Landing, a local pharmacy, or their primary care provider. The flu vaccine is covered under University of Iowa health plans and many other insurance plans.
Stay and Explore the Health and Well-Being Fair
While you're at the Field House, take some time to explore everything else the 2026 Health and Well-Being Fair has to offer, including health screenings, chair massages, University Benefits representatives, UI Health Care experts and services, liveWELL and Employee Assistance Program resources, the UI DeGowin Blood Center blood drive, food trucks, giveaways, and more.
