Neda Barrett is the Senior Human Resources Director in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Administration. She earned her Master’s degree in International Business from Växjö University (now Linnaeus University) in Sweden.

Neda began her University of Iowa career in 2006 at the Obermann Center before moving to the University of Colorado. After two years in Colorado, she returned to Iowa City and continued her work at the College of Dentistry and later at the College of Law.

As a Staff Councilor, Neda is eager to listen thoughtfully to staff perspectives, identify challenges, and advocate for solutions that enhance both the staff experience and the University community as a whole.
