Helpers of all ages and abilities joined the City of Iowa City is seeking volunteers for the annual Neighborhood Energy Blitz to go door-to-door delivering energy-saving kits to homes in and around the Wylde-Weeber and Bryn Mawr Heights neighborhoods. Morning volunteers distributed energy-saving kits, and afternoon volunteers returned to collect any kits left outside and sort used light bulbs and batteries for safe disposal and recycling.
