Staff Councilors, family, and friends are invited to join the Community Outreach Committee at Kent Park for our Spring Highway Cleanup on May 16. We will kick off the morning with breakfast pizza and donuts, and send you home after with a few delicious treats as a thank you! 

The Adopt-a-Highway program helps reduce litter along highways, enhance the environment, beautify roadsides, and build community support for anti-litter and highway beautification programs. Caring for roadsides not only makes them more attractive to the traveling public but also improves our environment.

Help us keep our environment clean and safe, and have some fun too!

  • Meet at Bluebird Shelter for breakfast pizza!
  • Parking is available.
• Family and friends are always welcome! Please add them to your sign-up link.
• If you make a favorite treat or goodie that you'd like to share, we'll add it to the goodie bag. Let us know in your sign-up or just email me! (Completely optional -- no stress, no obligation! 😊)
• If we have enough volunteers, we will divide into 2 groups to cover both sides/directions of the highway at the same time.
• Safety vests, trash bags, gloves, and hand-sanitizer will be provided.
• Please dress according to the weather and remember we will be in ditches -- close-toed shoes, long pants, and hats are strongly recommended.
