Adrienne Maxwell
In my current role as the Associate Director, Student Success in the Tippie College of Business I advisee undergraduate business students, supervise Academic Advisors, and manage Tippie’s student success programming through various programmatic and policy efforts. While advising students and supporting their success through unique programming initiatives drew me to my role, it has been the ability to assist in the development of Academic Advisors and participation in policy oversight that have reenergized me as a professional. I value collaboration, adaptability, communication, and accountability as critical components of strong and successful teams/organizations and approach my work in ways that center these values.
Prior to my current role, I worked with various offices as a graduate student from 2017-2019 including Academic Support & Retention, Pomerantz Career Center, and Office of Student Accountability. I worked for the College of Engineering’s Student Success Team from 2019-2021. I have a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University, as well as a master’s degree in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies and an MBA from the University of Iowa. Personally, I believe in the power of a handwritten card, am always planning for my next concert or sporting event to attend, and love to get lost in a good book.
