Hi! I’m Sydnie Harris, and I work in the Dean’s Office in the Carver College of Medicine. In my role, I help manage leadership programs focused on faculty development and wellbeing, and I assist with coordinating executive recruitment for leadership positions across the College of Medicine and UI Health Care. 

I’ve been with the Dean’s Office for six years and truly value both the work and the people I get to do it with. I find a lot of meaning in supporting our folks and enjoy being part of initiatives that help our community thrive. This is my first year serving on Staff Council, and I’m looking forward to making new connections, learning from colleagues across campus, and being a strong advocate for staff. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, trying out new recipes, and rearranging my entire house whenever I feel bored.
