Join us for the Iowa Homecoming Parade! This year’s parade theme is “Herkys Haunted Homecoming” and so we encourage you to wear your Halloween costumes if you wish or your favorite Hawkeye gear.
Date: October 30
Time: 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m. - Decorate the float
- 5:15 p.m. - Line up to walk and pass out candy
- 5:45 p.m. - Parade begins
- Following the parade, help is needed to dismantle the float
Where: Downtown Iowa City: specific float line-up location to be announced the week of the parade
- A brief Teams meeting will be held on Wednesday, 10/28/26 at 1pm to discuss meeting location and expectations for handing out candy.
