Brian Morelli is the assistant director of marketing and communication for the University of Iowa (UI) College of Engineering. He oversees the annual Iowa Engineer Magazine, creates the monthly newsletter for more than 9,000 alumni and friends, leads College of Engineering storytelling, and plays various roles in alumni events. Brian earned a BA in journalism from the UI and an MBA from the UI Tippie College of Business. Brian is also an adjunct professor with the UI Lifetime Leisure Skills program teaching for-credit classes in backpacking, cycling, hiking, and canoeing since 2007.. Previously, Brian was an award-winning journalist for 15 years.
