Brittany Grabe, BSN, RN, CNML, serves as the Nurse Manager for Emergency Psychiatric Medicine and Crisis Stabilization at the University of Iowa Health Care. She has extensive healthcare leadership experience and oversees nursing clinical practice, development, education, and outcomes in the Emergency Psychiatric and Crisis Stabilization Department. Additionally, she is responsible for administering and directing nursing integration, operations, as well as financial, regulatory, and business activities. Grabe is also an educator for Behavioral Health Foundational Education, Trauma Informed Care, Management of Aggressive Behavior, and Basic Life Support. She began her healthcare career as a Medical Assistant in January 2010 and transitioned to a staff nurse role within the University of Iowa Health Care System in 2016. Since 2018, she has been serving in nursing leadership and is certified in Nursing Leadership and Management.
