Michele Hogue started at Iowa as a department secretary in the Department of Epidemiology in July 1998. She currently works as a Human Resource Generalist in the College of Public Health. She is responsible for all human resource functions for the Department of Epidemiology. In the past she has served on the Family Issues Charter Committee and Department of Epidemiology Staff Council. Michele is a farm girl at heart but came to Iowa City to study and received her Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Iowa. Outside of work, she is a regular blood donor at DeGowin, enjoys time with her family, watching her grandsons grow, camping, thrifting, and being a creative sewing vendor at various craft/farmer's markets
