Co-chairs of the University of Iowa Staff Council committees serve as key leaders, guiding their committee’s work and ensuring alignment with both University leadership and the Council’s goals. They lead meetings, set agendas, and facilitate productive discussions. Co-chairs also act as liaisons between their committee and the broader Council, reporting on progress and representing their group in relevant forums. They collaborate with other members and leadership, oversee initiatives, and help onboard new members to maintain continuity and momentum in the committee’s efforts.
