Pecha Kucha, Japanese for "chit-chat", is a fast paced, imagery-focused workshop hosted by the Scanlon Center for School Mental Health.

Each year, the Veterans Association at IOWA (VAI) together with campus ROTC gather to make a flag display using over 6,000 American Flags to form the shape of an I. Each flag is dedicated in honor of a service member.

The Game Day Grab and Go is a collaborative campus partnership that offers food and water to everyone as they make their way to Kinnick Stadium for home football games.

Holiday Lights at the Lake is the annual fundraiser for the Bird House, the Hospice House for Johnson County. The Build Week crew relies on volunteers to get ready for visitors to make their trip through the lights a holiday tradition.

Family Weekend 2025 (Division of Student Life) was held Oct. 24–26, with nearly 1,500 families coming to campus to celebrate with their students.
